Franco Pepe is a modern artisan with an ancient passion for pizza. His expertise is based on the experience of three generations of master bakers and has developed over the years, enriched by the passion and dedication for dough that has made Franco known worldwide. Franco Pepe is synonymous with guarantee and singular attention to a food of ancient folk tradition, twice Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic and Ambassador of the Mediterranean Diet in the world. Since Franco Pepe left the family’s Antica Osteria in 2012 to start the unprecedented solo venture in the heart of Caiazzo’s historic center, he has poured his desire for experimentation and experience as a passionate baker into Pepe in Grani, making it a true cult place. Pizza, research and hospitality, three focal points that have contributed to a methodical and steady growth in the quality standards set.
