Design meets nature in a perfect symbiosis.
The CLUB HOUSE, an integral part of the Resort, is a multifunctional building. On the ground floor, you’ll find spaces supporting the upcoming Golf Club activities. The first floor is dedicated to hospitality with six exclusive suites, while the top floor houses Franco Pepe’s Proxima pizzeria, complete with a stunning terrace and pool. Everything has been designed to offer a Relax & Leisure stay in true San Barbato style.
The ambitious construction, designed by Studio Eoss Architettura, features a modern building with a sinuous, curved profile. It is completed by a newly constructed architectural envelope made of steel, ETFE, wood, and glass, housing a vertical garden with rosemary plants in a pure Mediterranean style.
The suites showcase an elegant and minimalist design with flowing, fluid floor plans. Each element has been designed “custom-made,” with all components, including furniture and finishes, conceived as unique pieces.
The external area beneath the architectural envelope’s portico is used for various banqueting activities, featuring lounges surrounded by the vertical greenery that envelops the entire structure.
On the rooftop, the pizzeria by Franco Pepe features two dining rooms, each with its own visible wood-fired oven. A glass-protected slit in the corridor allows guests to watch the pizzaioli at work in the kitchen, the true heart of the pizzeria. From the two dining rooms, guests can access a spacious external terrace with a special translucent ETFE cushion ceiling, surrounded by a vertical green wall. This wall filters the view of the beautiful Vulture plain on one side, the Pavilion bridge and square on another, and the main Resort structure on yet another side. There is even a surprising transparent pool suspended in the void.
Special emphasis has been placed on the lighting design throughout the CLUB HOUSE: light is used as a language of languages, a crucial factor in defining and narrating the space and enhancing the emotional engagement of the guests.
